Popular with families, Meyer Ranch Park offers plenty of picnic areas and hiking trails for visitors to enjoy, as well as public restrooms. A private residence of the Meyer family is located on the property, but is not open to the public.

Located near Evergreen, Bergen Park boasts a variety of services, including barbeques, horseshoe pits, volleyball courts and picnic shelters. This park was established in 1915 and is part of the Denver Mountain Parks, which is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

Part of the historic Denver Mountain Parks, Dedisse Park was established in 1919 and is located 2 mi (3 km) west of Evergreen in Bear Creek Canyon. It is home to Evergreen Lake and boasts a range of recreational opportunities, including fishing, golfing, picnicking, hiking and barbequing. A variety of wildlife and plants are preserved in this park.
